The first time collected red pocket over 10 million, 5.5 million renewed red pocket distributed in over 360 points for free
Although replacing olds items with new one for upcoming year is a norm, have we ever thought of passing the treasure along generations. The Greeners Action has been consecutively organizing the “Lai See Reuse and Recycle Program”for 9 years. In 2017, there were already over 12 million red pockets collected, on the 5th February, 2018 we distributed for free the “renewed red pockets” in entrances of markets during when people were shopping to encourage people to buy less new red pockets. This is money-saving and environmental-friendly. At the same time, we announced the position of over 360 distribution points in the territory for people to go. This year’s achievement is the highest among that of previous years so people can get involved in red pocket recycling easily. We believe the public acceptance to “renewed red pocket” will increase with time.
