都市固體廢物收費
自2005年政府推出「都巿固體廢物管理政策大綱(2005-2014)」，並建議於2007年向立法會提交都市固體廢物收費(下稱垃圾徵費)的條例草案，結果14年來反覆諮詢公眾，仍然未見政策落實。多個環保團體今午於添馬公園以「接力跑」舉行示威，並將市民支持徵費的簽名橫額，遞交政府代表，要求政府務必信守承諾，於九月立法會復會後，儘快提交都市固體廢物收費的條例草案。

In 2005, Environmental authorities aimed to launch the waste charging scheme in 2007 to tackle the waste crisis in HK. The fact is, the gov still not introduces the bill for Legco to read within these 14 years. Environment minister Wong Kam-sing has even changed the proposed time of waste charging scheme over and over again from first half of 2017 to second half of 2017. Indeed, no waste charging bill is tabled, so far.
Greeners Action with other 6 environmental groups, therefore, had a joint protest, presented by relay run to satirize the gov who processed the public consultation only but failed to submit the draft bill term to term that severely impeded for 14 years. We urge the gov to keep her word and table the bill within this year after the summer recess of Legco and implement the waste charge by 2019.
