Greeners Action has conducted a survey about Hong Kong people's habits of takeaways, and found out over 100 million single-use takeaway plastics are consumed every week during the COVID-19 pandemic, including straws, cutleries, food containers and plastic bags, which leads to an environmental disaster.
Greeners Action starts the "Fight the virus with NO PLASTICS" campaign, to promote to the restaurants and citizens the concept of bring your own tableware when order takeaways.
