Environmental Groups attend Online Consultation for 2020 Policy Address
Urging the Government to put Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Legislation on the Top Priority
Seven Environmental groups including Greeners Action, Green Power, Green Earth, Green Peace, The Conservancy Association, Green Sense and Designing Hong Kong expressed their demand for putting MSW on the top priority list of environmental protection policies within the term of Chief Executive today after the 2020 Policy Address Thematic Consultation. Meanwhile, the government should expand the Plastic Recycling Pilot Scheme from 3 districts to all over Hong Kong and design more policies encouraging waste reduction from source.
