Greeners Action, collaborated with Environmental Protection Department, Kwun Tong District and the Tsuen Wan District, has organised the “Clean it up, get a prize” program starting from today. The program encourages citizens to treasure food and eat all the food they ordered when they dine in restaurants so that food waste can be reduced at source.

Five shopping malls in Kwun Tong and Tsuen Wan have participated in the program, including APM,Discovery Park, Tsuen Wan Plaza, Citywalk and Tsuen Kam Centre. More than 110 restaurants have participated in the program and they will display program tent cards or stickers in their restaurants. Around 30 restaurants under Cafe de Coral Groups including Cafe de Coral, Super Super Congee & Noodles, Oliver’s Super Sandwiches, M.E.N.U. and The Spaghetti House, together with 7 branches of Maxim’s MX in Kwun Tong and Tsuen Wan had participated the “Clean it up, get a prize” program. It is hoped that the program can be promoted more effectively by their extensive network of branches.
