 Hong Kong produced more than 3,200 tons food waste every day which accounts for 30% of the municipal solid waste. Each year we throw away more than 1.2 million food which can satisfy the need of food of 17.52 million people who are in starvation all over the world. We have wasted the precious resources in the Earth. In view of this, we would like to invite you to join our visit to the Kowloon Bay Pilot Composting Plant to witness and experience how food waste is processed after being thrown away so that we can think more before disposing waste.
