There was a disturbance albeit the “One day to go: electric car parade” campaign went smoothly. They forcefully entered the rented electric vehicle and disturbed the progress of the campaign. It is regretful to hear that as we have long been pushing forward the campaigns relating to environmental protection. We would not tolerate those maliciously caused disturbance to guests or progress of campaign though we respect different voices from people. We urge that group of people to self-discipline and respect others by expressing their point of view through a right channel. We reserve right of taking legal action for liability.

Mr. Edward Yau’s speech for plastic bag levy scheme was interrupted. Yesterday Secretary for the Environment Mr. Edward Yau visited many places for promotion, when he presented in an electric car parade and was giving a speech in Whitty Street Tram Depot, a citizen suddenly disturbed the scene and interrupted his speech.

Kelly heard from colleague of news headline that man is confounder of Momentum107, Mr Ho Man Ki, he yelled slogan objecting Mr. Yau ‘s speech about promoting plastic bag levy scheme, and further gave petition letter to and shook hands with Mr. Yau. The disturbance lasted about 10 minutes. When police arrived, he left. I personally think although Hong Kong is a place where freedom of speech is protected, people still should abide by the law and express their idea through a right channel.
