Promotion on street for “Save Food Campaign”
The Greeners Action, today in Causeway Bay pedestrian zone, appealed to the public during lunch hour and dinner time, to remind and call for their support for the “Food Wise day” to be held across the territory on the next day, in which they could proactively order “less rice” according to their individual need. At the booth of Greeners Action, we used relaxing ways to draw public attention: People taking leftover like “pork”, “fish” and the like to protest. As a result to educate people to reduce food waste and cherish food resource. Moreover, the members of Greeners Action distributed leaflet about “hints of reducing food wastage” and information of caterings taking part in the campaign. We hope, through the street promotion, people could support the campaign on the next day.
