“Save Food Day” across the territory Lunar Promotion Campaign on street
The Greeners Action, in February, held the “Food Wise day” that backed by over 160 caterings, hoping to reduce food waste through the activity. On 1st February, 2009, we conducted promotional activity in pedestrian zone of Causeway Bay, encouraging citizens to support the first “Food Wise day” to be held on 4th February, 2009, a milestone of cherishing food resource. On that day, people could order “less rice” proactively according to their individual need to reduce wastage. During the activity, people, by rotating windmill and writing fortunate, set their goals for reducing food waste in the coming year.
