63% HongKongers is still using Umbrella Bag
Abuse of plastic umbrella bag has to be tackled, but good news is 80% of citizen taking voluntary replace action albeit 63% getting used to it.
Plastic umbrella bags are seen almost everywhere during rainy seasons. In view of the problem, the Greeners Action surveyed 867 citizens about their habit of using plastic umbrella bag in the form of questionnaire this year, it was found that 63% of them having this non-green habit, while 72% of them admitting the use of plastic umbrella bag is not environmentally-friendly and 80% of them having taken alternatives to prevent plastic umbrella bag usage.
