Environmental groups handing children's painting to the Legislative Council members, hope for the implementation of Municipal Solid Waste Charging
Regarding World Environment Day, the green group Greeners Action collaborating with the Friends of the Earth and Green Sense in Tamar Park, hoping the bill commitee amends and passes Municipal Solid Waste Charging bill as soon as possible. The green groups holding child's paintings and slogans written "For the next generation, the Municipal Solid Waste Charging cannot be delayed" and "Give our future generation a beautiful home", hoping Hong Kong can become a green city in the future and no longer facing a severe waste problem.
The paintings were handed over to the members of the Legislative Council, including Leung Kai-cheong, Ho Kwan-yiu and Kwok Wing-Hang, support and hope the Municipal Solid Waste Charging can be passed before the summer break, giving our future generation a place that pays attention to waste reduction, reuse and recycling.
