14 Million of umbrella bags were dumped, 79 properties stop/ reduce usage
Greeners Action researched over 90% properties provide umbrella bags for rainy season and over 14 million of umbrella were distributed. Therefore, Greeners Action launched Umbrella Bags Reduction Accreditation Program since 2017, to encourage properties to take actions reducing the usage of umbrella bags. It comes to the third year of the program, altogether 79 properties participated, which triple than the first year. 74, 4 and 1 properties were awarded as Gold, Silver and Merit award. 3 of them were awarded as creative promotional award and 39 of them were awarded with the Reduction Award.
