Fund-Raising Activities

Amazing Greeners used to organize orienteering games in urban areas as a means of raising funds. However, due to the unfavorable social conditions in the past few years, we suspended organizing such activities. Instead, we launched the “Fight for No Plastic” campaign in 2021, aiming for coastal conservation. Participants helped to clear the plastic waste while enjoying the fresh air in the suburbs.

On October 31, 2021, "Fight for No Plastic．Kat O” was successfully launched. On that day, a total of 70 corporate volunteers from different sponsoring corporate heads to O Pui Tong, a remote bay of Crooked Island, to clean up the coastal garbage. With the efforts of the volunteers, more than 250kg of garbage was collected within an hour, including plastic (43.4kg); Styrofoam (5kg), and others (210.9kg). The funds raised from this event will be supported by our environmental education and advocacy projects.

We would like to express our gratitude to many enterprises and organizations for sending volunteers to participate in the beach cleanup, as well as their donations. Not only do they contribute to the reduction of coastal plastic waste, but also fulfill corporate social responsibility.
