Municipal Solid Waste Charging will be implemented on 1 August 2024. Greeners Action launched a "Holistic Waste Management Consultancy Service" to assist property management companies in welcoming the new policy, including a series of customized education and consulting activities, so that residents, tenants, cleaners, security personnel, and frontline property management staff can well prepare for waste charging in advance. Details are as follows:

Waste management consulting services
- Conduct on-site inspections to understand the mode of waste collection and the potential risks in waste management
- Patrol existing recycling facilities
- Supply a comprehensive report to help management review the waste management system to facilitate MSW charging management in the future

Training seminars
- Background, specific policies, and legal requirements of municipal waste charging
- Explain possible challenges in policy implementation and recommend solutions
- Tips on waste reduction and recycling

Education booth
- Provide customized exhibition boards
- Provide residents with relevant information on waste charging policies, types of recyclables and recycling areas for individual properties, and recycling knowledge
- Collect residents' opinions on the implementation of MSW Charging

An early bird discount will be offered for interested properties on the application of the above services before 26 March 2024.
