Firefly Exploration Journey 2
Due to good response of previous firefly exploration journey, Greeners Action organized another journey for members and friends on 07th Jul, 2012. We, twenty some people, had night journey in Tai Po Kau, exploring the summer-seasoned natural habitat. We found 2 types of common firefly, including Luciola Photinus, Pyrocoelia analis. Also we found 4 types of frog, including Polypedates megacephalus, Duttaphrynus melanostictus, Hylarana guentheri and Asiatic Painted frog. Other creatures like geometrid moth and Chinese gecko were noted too. Detailed explained by tour guide, we were enriched thus cherish more our nature habitat.
