shopping malls taking the lead to promise to reduce use of umbrella plastic bag
The Greeners Action, in September, mailed to property management companies, suggesting them to reduce use of umbrella plastic bags. It is great to hear positive feedback from them. They include East Point City, Tai Po Mega Mall, Metropolis Plaza, New Town Plaza phase 3, Mikiki, Park-Central, Tsuen Wan Plaza, Landmark North. The representatives of the shopping malls signed the charter of “reducing delivery of umbrella plastic bag” and shared their thoughts in doing so. It is hoped that more shopping malls will follow suit to protect our environment.
