The first Tetrapak Clean Recycling Pilot Scheme Ceremony
Greeners Action has first launched “Tetrapak Clean Recycling Pilot Scheme” in Oct 2019 and cooperated with 27 properties to set up the Beverage Cartons recycle boxes. Those recycle boxes have shown the steps of how to do clean recycling. During the last one and half year, Greeners Action got the support from all the property management companies, over 4.5 tons of beverage cartons were recycled. The average weight of a 250ML beverage carton is 10G, the recycled weight is equivalent to 450,000 beverage cartons. Based on this statistic, it shows Hong Kong citizens are willing to do the clean recycling and reduce the waste.
