“Lai See Reuse and Recycle Program 2017” Booth on the Street
The Greeners Action has been consecutively organizing “Lai See Reuse and Recycle Program” for 8 years. In previous year there are over 8.8 million red pockets recycled, after treatment, there will be over 4 million renewed red pocket distributed for free through community organizations starting today to 27th Jan, 2017 in 270 distribution points. It is the highest among previous years. According to our survey, there are 320 million red pocket used every year, equivalent to cutting over 16,300 trees. The Greeners Action reserved and distributed 50,000 renewed red pocket for pedestrians in Causeway Bay for free on 22nd Jan, 2017.
