Lai See Reuse and Recycle Program
There are about two weeks from the Lunar New Year, although replacing the olds with new items is a norm, still we could have a green Lunar New Year holiday. The Greeners Action, a green charity, has been consecutively organizing the “Red Pocket Recycling and Reuse campaign” for 13 years. In 2021, there were already over 5.6 million red pockets collected, starting the 19th January, 2022 we distributed for free the “renewed red pockets” in various districts to encourage people to buy less new red pockets. This is money-saving and environmental-friendly. At the same time, we announced the position of over 50 distribution points in the territory for people to go.
