Lai See Reuse and Recycle Program 2026 Launches
Greeners Action today (February 27) held the kickoff ceremony for the "Lai See Reuse and Recycle Program 2026." The event was graced by former Secretary for the Environment, Mr. Wong Kam-sing, GBS, JP, former Director of the Hong Kong Observatory, Mr. Lam Chiu-ying, SBS, Assistant General Manager (Property Management) of Kai Shing Management Services Limited, Mr. Hui Hon-wai, Specialist of Mean Well (Hong Kong) Holding Limited, Ms. Vicki Ho, and ESG Manager of Chinachem Group, Mr. Dominic Wu. They joined Greeners Action's Executive Director, Mr. Ho Hon-wai, and Head of Corporate Partnership, Mr. Leo Wong, along with over 40 participating guests, to officiate the event. During the kickoff ceremony, the guests delivered speeches urging the public to embrace the reuse of red packets, reduce festive waste, and work together to create a greener New Year, harmonizing traditional customs with environmental responsibility.
